Just me. |
About me: I'm a single mother of 2 boys who has been climbing
since March 02. Up to this point, I can say that life has certainly thrown me it's fair share of curve balls.
I've been knocked off the plate a time or 2 and taken a couple of balls to the head but I'm still standing. Climbing
has changed my life. My sons were seemingly my only source of happiness but when I found climbing, I found more joy
and the niche that I've been searching for my whole life. Through climbing, I've challenged myself both mentally and
physically, I've been to some amazing places that everyday people will NEVER see, I've fallen in love and experienced some
of the greatest joys possible, I've lost love and felt great pain, I've literally ascended thousands upon thousands of feet
in 2 years, I've traveled to other states and I can say that I have met my closest friends through this endeavor. My
life has been enriched thanks to this sport. I'm a bit of a loner at heart (I get this from my Dad) although
I love to be around the people who are dear to me. When I'm high upon the mountains I think about those people and I
miss them but I'm happy to be alone. As far as my climbing goals, my goal is simply to be a great all around climber.
During the week I can be found clipping bolts in Clear Creek Canyon, Table Mtn, Boulder Canyon or doing multi-pitch trad in
Eldo. I try to reserve my free time on the weekends for alpine. Winter 04 will be my 2d ice season and I hope
to get out on as much AI as possible in the park. If you ever find yourself in the Denver area and are in need of a
partner, drop me a line. I will climb with anyone at any level, any style but only if you're safe and nice. Peace!
